How to use RelishMix DOTS:
How well are we tracking:
The DOTS Meter scores in the DOTS Tracking Chart and 4-Weeks-Out tabs are the overall tracking score.
Above 5.0 is good and below 5.0 is below normal.
The DOTS score is an average of SMU (social media universe), KPIs (key performance indicators), Cast (activation) and Convo (conversation analysis).
Where is there room for improvement:
If the SMU, KPIs, Cast activation or Convo are below average 5.0, they can be adjusted, if there’s enough time in the campaign.
A closer look at the INSIGHTS tab will tell more about each sector.
Deeper data insights are available.
How do we compare by sub-genre:
On the INSIGHTS tab, you’ll see a list of 6 comps with the SMU (social media universe) for each title at opening in relation to OBO.
The SMU v COMPS tab indicates SMU by movie and the comps average by genre.
The COMPS tab shows some example of sets of comps and their splits by social platform.
All sub-genre mixes are available.
How well will we open:
Movies tracking above 6.0 usually open well.
Movies over 8.0 always open well. Movies under 4.0 usually open under.
A closer look at the DOTS METERS tab show % levels of over and under intensity in relation to I-pre (industry prediction) and SMU.
As SMU grows, so does OBO. See the SMU/OBO tab with examples.
Note, the SMU/OBO R2 correlation is 84% pre and post pandemic.
